A few more for Christmas...

Here's a few family photos of Molly and Connor. We had a plan to go outside, take some photos by a waterfall and enjoy the pleasant December we were having. And then a day before the photos, the temperatures dropped below zero and it snowed a couple of feet. Luckily, Molly is one of the realtors at Lambros in Missoula, which is where we did the Santa Claus photos. They have a fantastic tree, so we took full advantage of their decorating!

Thanks Molly and Connor!

Merry Christmas!

Thought you would all enjoy a few Santa photos for Christmas. Hope all of you were good girls and boys and got what you wanted from Santa!

And I'm BACK!

Well, life has been a little chaotic since my last post. But here I am. Moving slowly into a new house in Missoula. Thanks for being patient with us and our lack of communications! Its been great to see so many friends and family we've missed in our short visits before, we still miss all you Oregonians though! Here are a couple photos of the new place - its a little cluttered still, but you get the jist. If you're ever headed this way and want to go hang out, have a beer, shoot some photos, let me know!

My mom and her bike ride for MS

My mom is amazing. She wrote 118 miles in the wind and rain and 40 degree weather to benefit MS! Since we are back in the homeland, Matt, Dash and I were able to meet my dad and aunt Sally in Red Lodge to cheer her across the finish line (although day 2 was definitely worse than day one.)

The gratuitous beer shot at one of our favorite Red Lodge locations: Foster & Logan's

Here she comes - hard to miss in that green coat. What a trooper!

My mom Jill "Carb Loading" with my aunt Sally at Snow Creek. Arent' they beautiful? Man I've got some good genes!

Moving to Montana

No, you didn't read that wrong. Rachor Photography has packed up and moved to Missoula, Montana! After 3 years in Central Oregon, we are coming home, since my husband grew up just south of Missoula in a little town called Florence.

The reasons for this move are partly to be closer to our families, but also so Matt can make a career change from engineering to Physical Therapy!

Thanks to everyone in Central Oregon for a great 3 years, and everyone in Montana, look out here we come!

Leaving the house was fairly painless - until I looked this picture, now I'm a little sad. And excited to find our new house in Missoula!

Is this not the ugliest out of perspective picture you've ever seen? This is what I had to drive for 600 miles. It is a endangered Sand Hill Crane. Apparently there is more info at Uhaul.com but I didn't see it.

This is our new home. Missoula, MT (from the South Hills). This area has some of the most beautiful country in the world. There will be more images to come.

Off to Wyoming!

I'm off on an epic journey. My first solo car trip in years. I'm driving from Redmond, OR to Billings, MT. I'm leaving as soon as I finish this, so with the time change, I should arrive around 11:30pm. I can't believe I used to do this on a regular basis (from an hour and a half further!). I know what you're thinking, you Wyominions who knew me in college. I did it all the time. From Powell. ALONE.

Well, now that I've been married a couple years, I've got kind of used to having a co-pilot. Instead, I am solo until Billings. Then I get to pick up my mom, Jill,

and she is going to be my assistant at my friend Jay's wedding down in Riverton on Saturday. Its going to be a blast!

So what I'm really getting at is I'm going to be out of town until Monday night. If you need me, feel free to call. I will most likely be driving :)

Allison and Brandon's Wedding

I had the pleasure of attending Allison and Brandon's wedding about a month ago. Although I wasn't the "official" photographer, there were quite a few of us roaming around and I got some fun shots from across the pond at Aspen Hall at Shevlin Park here in Bend. Congrats you two! Here are some of the photos:
